  This animal from South Africa, appreciated so much for the quality of its meat, prosperous under dry, semi conditions desert. This gregarious animal lives in herds which can count thousands of animals during the seasonal migrations. When it feels threatened, it makes a characteristic jump which one calls “pronk”. The meat of antelope is a red, healthy meat naturally low in grease and cholesterol with a fine texture. Its delicate savour comes from its food made up of grass, graminaceous, foliage as well as growths of shrubs.
